HA! A fellow VCR’er! We have TWO of them in our house – I honestly pray that they don’t die because good luck finding one! We have dozens of Disney movies that the kids watch on them – it’s hard explaining to them why they can’t watch a certain one upstairs, or vice versa…
we have cable – and even though I rarely get to sit down and watch an entire show – I am pretty sure I couldn’t survive without it – like my microwave!
While I don’t necessarily love watching shows I’ve taped…the price is right versus the silly monthly fees from the cable provider – which incidentally, charges me an arm and a leg for cable/internet!

You know, that non-scratching thing IS pretty awesome! We have so many DVDs that have skips due to kid handling.

And now that the VCR rewinders are pretty much obsolete, there’s not much worry that the tape will be pulled out!

I am laughing because we use our VCR several times a week–all the old Disney movies we had collected in our youth get watched by Paige. And she can’t scratch them like the DVD’s. But we do have cable, and DVR–which is the greatest thing ever!
