Another mom-ism has come true.
Kids are physically unable to leave you alone when you’re in the bathroom.
My mom says that little fingers would constantly dig under the door while she was in the bathroom. Accompanying the little fingers would be crying and “Mommy, are you mad at us?”
All the woman wanted to do was go about her business by herself.
Now I know what that means.
I have a pint-size bathroom stalker of my own. If I leave the room, wails ensue.
Tonight I went into the bathroom and heard the pitter patter of her feet coming towards me. And then joining me.
Later on, I baited her. I tell you that because I don’t want you to think I’m a weirdo who brings a camera into the bathroom with me.
So…I grabbed said camera, went into the bathroom, and called the wee babe.
Five seconds later…
At least she waved bye-bye.

My girls are older now but it never fails, I go to the bathroom, someone is at the door. But as mine are teenagers now and my time at home with them is passing all to fast I have to say I don’t mind.

That’s good together time now!
I know – it makes me sad how quickly time passes. I bet it feels like just yesterday when your girls were babies

Love it, can completely relate. I love it when you are in a stall together in a public restroom and they congratulate you for going potty like a big girl.

LOL – that is way too cute. I haven’t been congratulated, but I HAVE been walked out on by Peter with him leaving the stall door open. If he only knew how mortifying that is!

Oh so true… can’t say that I remember the last time that I was in the bathroom by myself during daylight hours. LOL. Gotta love it when they decide to “come on in” and then leave the door wide open for all your company to see!
Nope… that hasn’t ever happened to me. Never.
You’ve got an adorable looking little girl…. love those pigtails.
Blessings to you,
Kari

Certainly isn’t! Maybe it should be, the family that bathrooms together, stays together
